Backup, Restore and Data
Create regular FishBuddyPro backups and store them somewhere you can access if the phone is lost, replaced or reset.
FishBuddyPro is designed primarily around information stored locally on the user’s Android device. Locally stored fishing records may be lost if app storage is cleared, the app is uninstalled, the device fails or the phone is reset without a usable backup.
Steps to try
Open the FishBuddyPro backup function; Create a complete backup; Confirm the backup file; Store a copy safely; Keep recent backups; Back up before changing devices or uninstalling; Use Restore Backup only with a trusted file.
Important
Never uninstall FishBuddyPro or clear its app storage assuming all fishing records are automatically stored online.
